Billing

NSRA Billing Fun Run

Doesn't a spot of nice weather make all the difference?

The Bristol encampment.

Clear and sunny all weekend - certainly improves the car photos!

Nick Barnett added a blower to the pick-up (along with a fresh wheel combo and new headers). The Daimler engine decided to smoke, prompting an engine rebuild.

Dave Rothwell's Standard

Cricket St Thomas

Here it was nice to see father and son making their show debuts, and both with vans. Ryan Welch with his recently finished Chevy van and dad Steve with his Rover powered A55 van.

Since this show Ryan's van seems to be everywhere, a credit to its builder and his confidence.

Beaulieu

Victory Wheelers South Coast Internationals

Held in the grounds of Beaulieu again, facilities were good, and entry to the event included Museum admission.

Fresh out '34.

Mariachi band entertained the crowds over the weekend.

The C&C Racing team was present, taking part in cacklefests throughout the weekend.

Historic Allard slingshot dragster is a museum preservation project.

Early days of motoring recreated inside the museum.

Bluebird, one of several land speed record cars at Beaulieu.

Dave Brock about to receive a trophy for his period perfect A roadster.

Not long ago you would never believe that Lord Montagu would ever be welcoming hot rods to his gaff ..

.. though he does find some of them a little too noisy!

These two pics courtesy of Ian Armstrong (Captain Scarlet) - thanks!

Nostalgia Nationals

NSRA Nostalgia Nationals, Shakespeare County Raceway

Carl's first big public outing, everyone loved this car and it just looked so 'at home' on the strip.

Interior is a vintage racecar/warplane mix; yes, it's a blown Hemi!

Merv's Willys back in action after its front-end smash and rebuild.

Pete' pickup poised purposefully in the pits.

The Griffin

Club nights - every Tuesday

Carl turned up at the Griffin club night, and judging by the reaction of all who saw it, this car will make a major impact on the British rodding scene.

Also on the same night a Brough Superior motor cycle showed up. The finish on this classic motorcycle was superb - it may not be a hotrod but is a credit to its owner/builder.
