Paul Quick's 'T'

New on the road for it's first MOT in November 2009.. here's Paul's T-bucket.
The Quick T has a dressed small-block Chevy 400 motor, stroked & re-balanced to 417ci, mated to a 2 speed Powerglide transmission with Hurst Shifter & TCI Breakaway hi-stall converter.
The T has an 8" Ford rear axle, Aldan shox, with hairpins front & rear, Total Performance front end with friction shox. Body is by Total Performance, with a tweed interior which Paul says 'will do for now'. The fuel tank was designed by Paul and fabricated by Chris Hartnell. Wilwood discs all round, two pot front, four pot rears. Wheels are Colorado Custom 15x15 rears with MT Sportsman's, 4 1/2x15 fronts with Firestone rubber. Dakota Digital custom billet dash & instruments. Custom Radiator shell with Walker Rad'.

Bob Wellstead's '36 Ford

Bob's 1936 3-window Ford is powered by a Chevy LT1 motor. Front end has stainless steel independent suspension, while rear axle is a rugged Ford 9" item.

Paint is by Del Whittaker, interior trim by Neil Tadman.

Bob Wellstead's '40 Ford Pickup

(Now has a new owner in Scotland)

This 1940 Ford pickup is powered by a Chevy 350/350 engine/transmission combo. Independent front suspension, with a Ford 8" rear axle.

Again, paint is by Del Whittaker, with interior by Neil Tadman.

Ivor Knapp's V8 Trike

Ivor's home built trike features a Rover V8 engine built into a superbly engineered and very compact package.

High power to weight ratio means a gearbox is not required, so the trike is direct drive.. power is applied through the clutch direct to the rear axle; all speeds controlled by throttle only!

If the trike is anything to go by, Ivor's current car project should be pretty interesting!

Ade Wells' '32 Ford

Ade is the new owner of this ex-Chris Harnell '32 5-window.
